PTC Heaters for Batteries
The use of Lithium-based batteries is increasing in a wide range of appliances from consumer electronics to hybrid and electric vehicles. A challenge these batteries present is to ensure a good battery function also in cold conditions.
Conflux pointwise self-regulating heaters provide the optimal solution that is both energy efficient and provides an excellent battery heating performance. The Conflux solution makes it easier to ensure that the entire battery pack is kept at an optimal performance temperature. It also eliminates the risk of overheating.
No regulating electronics are required. The flexible Conflux heater is simply attached to the battery or its support structure and connected to a power source.
